Use current and important real-world data to teach mathematics and make students aware of social problems, situations, and solutions. Have the students discover the whopping interest rates charged by Pay Day Loan companies. Make students aware of how many people are dying from opioids. And be amazed at the number of plastic straws that we use in the US daily. Regressions, math modeling, problem solving, units conversion, technology. Obtain all materials.
